Who We Are

Howard Johnson Jr. President. Founded Howard Johnson's Reupholstery Co. in 1981 After working at my Identical Twin brother, Antiques, and restoration business.  Midtown Furniture Renovators 3906 Laclede ave. After noticing that all of the upholstery jobs were being sub-contracted out to shops. Howard Johnson decided to start a upholstery workroom.   After attending Metro Business College in furniture restoration and upholstery. we moved in our 1st shop at 5356 n. Kingshighway Blvd. We needed more space so in 1997 after 10 years we moved to our 2nd location, 1933 Washington Ave. Then the Loft's came, so we moved to our current location.9918 Halls Ferry Rd.  After many years the Art and Craft of upholstery has changed. We see new imported furniture poorly, and cheaply made. Often its Affordable to replace furniture instead of restoration or renovation.  So we now concentrate on servicing the True furniture lover and the Antiques Lovers.
